The subscription is for your household, not per person or per screen. Add every family member, sign in on every phone and computer, and pair a kitchen tablet, all on the one subscription.
A 14-day free trial, no credit card
Sign in with your email at app.daybreakplanner.net and your family is set up with a free 14-day trial. No credit card is needed to start. Continuing past the trial requires a paid subscription.
The founding rate stays yours
Daybreak launched at $9.99 CAD/month — that price is the founding rate, and everyone who subscribes at it keeps it while their subscription stays active. Pricing for new subscribers may change in the future.
Cancel anytime
Daybreak subscriptions can be cancelled any time from the billing portal; cancellation stops future charges and keeps access until the end of the paid period.
Refunds
Yes — if Daybreak didn't work out within the first 30 days of your first paid charge, email support@daybreakplanner.net and we'll refund that charge in full. Cancelling from the billing portal stops future charges and keeps your access until the end of the paid period. Refunds for later renewal charges are at our discretion — if you forgot to cancel and haven't used the app since renewal, just ask.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method. The full wording is in the terms.

Do I need to buy a special device?
No. Daybreak runs on the phones, tablets, and computers you already own. Prop up an old tablet in the kitchen for a family calendar wall, or just open it in any browser. There's no dedicated display to purchase.
Can I use it on more than one device?
Yes. Sign in to Daybreak on any device and everything stays in sync. To add a shared screen such as a kitchen tablet, create a 10-digit pairing code in Settings on a device that's already signed in and type it on the new one within five minutes. Daybreak keeps working offline and catches up automatically when you're back online.
How is this different from a family calendar display?
Most family-calendar products are built around a screen you buy. Daybreak is just the software — it runs on devices you already have, so there's nothing extra to purchase and nothing to be locked into a single piece of hardware.
